After bizarrely gaining a degree in Agriculture and working in the family shop on leaving college a twist of fate resulted in this Newcastle born lad entering the world of media.

Joe has been involved in broadcasting for over a decade focusing on the sport environment in particular. He began his career in the North East of England with local "BBC Radio" becoming the youngster presenter in the stations' history.

Senior producers quickly recognized his relaxed on-air persona and fast tracked him into regional "BBC TV" again in the sports field where his successes included Football, Rugby, European Tour golf motor racing and horse racing.

His interview technique won him many plaudits and eventually caught the eye of Newcastle Utd football club who were looking for a face to front up their newly launched TV channel. To them the importance of being able to work closely with football players and to gain their trust and respect was vital.

To this end Joe was invited to do documentaries involving individual players in their own homes and environments including other parts of the world such as South America. His contacts and relationships with everyone from Sir Bobby Robson to Alan Shearer via Sir Alex Ferguson earned him the respect of his peers as well as an exclusive interview with Brazilian legend Pele!

The international chapter of Joe Morrison's meteoric rise through sport broadcasting saw him being selected as anchor for middle eastern broadcaster ART's recently launched English language sport channel ART Prime Sport in 2005

ART Prime Sport broadcast the "English Premier League" across the Middle East with an audience that not only included western expats but also a large number of young Arabs as well rapidly becoming the most popular sports program in the Gulf region.

Joe was recently the host of the 2006 "Asian Football Confederation" (AFC) Annual Awards held in Abu Dhabi, which was broadcast across the Middle East and Asia.

This last year alone, Joe has been responsible for bringing to the Middle East, a long list of distinguished names from the world of football including, Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Bobby Robson, Paul Gascoigne, Ian Rush, Sir Bobby Charlton and Sven Goran Erikkson to name but a few.

In the summer of 2007 Joe Morrison joined Goal TV as their face of the "Barclays English Premier League" broadcasting to a number of territories in south east Asia including Singapore.
