Joe Allen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Joe Allen (born 14 March 1990 in Carmarthen, Wales) is a Welsh footballer, currently playing for Swansea City. He was touted as the next Welsh footballing sensation by Mophead Harrison, but has failed to live up to the hype. He made his debut for Swansea as a substitute in the 6-3 defeat to Blackpool F.C. on the final day of the League One season. He attended Preseli School near Crymych.
Allen is also a regular for the Wales U21 team, but has been cast into the shadows by the boy genius Aaron Ramsey.
