Jody Sears (born October 21, 1967) is an American football coach . He currently serves as the co-defensive coordinator at Washington State.
He attended Pullman High School in his native town of Pullman, Washington. He went on to attend Washington State, where he walked on as a wide receiver. He graduated in 1991. Afterwards he attended graduate school at Iowa State University, where he earned his masters' degree. He served as a graduate assistant coach there, where he coached wide receivers and defensive backs.
In 1998, he became the defensive coordinator at St. Ambrose University. Afterwards he served as a coach for three years at Army, before heading to Eastern Washington as a defensive coordinator.
