Joachim Rücker (born May 30, 1951, in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany) is a German international civil servant. He was named Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Kosovo and head of UNMIK on 1st September 2006 and has held the position since then. Before that, he was the Deputy Special Representative and Head of the Economic Reconstruction component in UNMIK administration.
