Joãozinho full name João Soares de Almeida Neto (born 30 January 1980 in Belo Horizonte) is a Brazilian footballer. He plays for Monarcas Morelia.

Joãozinho started his career at Cruzeiro, one of the biggest club of Minas Gerais. He left Brazil for Spanish side Recreativo de Huelva on 29 January 2003.[1]
He left Brazil again for Litex Lovech on 20 July 2004.[2] He back to Brazil for Brasiliense on 15 August 2005[3], signed a contract until the end of 2006 season.[4]
He signed a contract for Esporte Clube Vitória until the end of 2008 season on September 2007. But in January 2008, he left Brazil again, this time for Monarcas Morelia.
