[edit] My Thoughts
Awesome. Plain and simple. You have obviously thought out your answers, are bringing a lot to the table, and have your heart set on helping out around here. Believe you me, I hate seeing how our backlog grows to immense proportions at times, and there are far too many people who don't realize a SD has to be either removed by an editor, or deleted by an admin. I would honestly fully support a candidate for a Rfa is they had the same answers you put down. The FA "issue" isn't that big of a deal, and it is truly stupid for someone to oppose an Rfa because someone hasn't written a FA. I have never lifted one finger towards writing my own FA, preferring to stay back and tinker and toy with an article to help it out instead. You are obviously well-knowledged in what needs to be done around here, and I only have a few suggestions for you:
1. Keep up the work you are doing...it is great as it is.
2. Try and get more involved in admin-related areas (you're already involved, just keep it up).
3. I have always said/always heard/always been told to try and stay active in rfa's, as it is a gathering point for seeing what is expected of admins, and what people often look for, and you can more easily gauge what bearing(s) that has on you as an editor.
4. Patience is a virtue. You might pass an Rfa is we ran it now, and in the end it is up to you when we do, but I would suggest waiting at least another few weeks to allow yourself to build up even more editing skills. You've been here six months...awesome. :) Six is great, but seven+ is even better.
Anymore question/issues/anything...you know how to reach me. :) Jmlk17 23:29, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, great. :) Well listen, I really want to thank you for all your patience and for working with me on this. Can I count on you to write a nom when you think the time is right? ;) GlassCobra 23:38, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
