[edit] Allan Bloom

I really don't remember why I edited it out to be honest, from a quick look now at the end summary difference, it seems at least much of it I actually wrote-

In it, Ravelstein is clearly based on Allan Bloom and the novel relates Bloom's many interesting personal characteristics, including his homosexuality -- something Bloom himself never spoke of publicly. One may gather from his silence that he found it unnecessary to his thought or purpose as a teacher or philosopher. Even while authoring his last work Love and Friendship (Bloom), Bloom did not touch upon his private love life. In some sense this silence, a forgetting of the body, is distincly part of Bloom's educational approach.

but I am not really certain why i would have taken it out except that it is too much of an opinion (mine, I suppose) and the article should strive for 'objectivity'. I think it is better if you go ahead and add any new material since I think an article gets better the more people bring their perspective. --Mikerussell 16:30, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Inquiry

You claim that the Anabolic steroid article exhibits qualities of WP:OWN and WP:NPOV. This is untrue. You should really take a look at the articles talk page as well as the articles history just to see the number of users who contribute to it. Both Tim Vickers and alteripse have greatly contributed to the article as well as numerous others. Both the articles talk page and history section make this obvious if the time were taken to look at either. You claim the article is not WP:NPOV? Please elaborate. The article uses only the most reliable resources from primary or secondary sources and mentions both the side effects as well as the myths about side effects. The side effects section is one of the LONGEST sections in the article. Or are you claiming that the article is bias against Steroids? Wikidudeman (talk) 16:24, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] numismatics

If you are the numismatist John M. Kleeberg, would be pleased if you were to add any updates to the John Ford story to either the Kleeberg/Buttrey site, or suitable location in Wikipedia.

Never been a numismatist, but stumbled onto that story and have found it quite interesting. Publius3 (talk) 00:19, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
