The National Academic Mailing List Service, known as 'JISCmail', is an important dedicated e-mail service available to British educational institutions. It is one of a number of "JANET" services provided by JANET(UK) and funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee [1] to benefit learning, teaching and research communities. The (Council for the Central Laboratory of the Research Councils(CCLRC) currently operates and develops the JISCmail service on behalf of JANET(UK), at [2]
