A Chinese en:bodhisattva statue crafted out of wood with traces of en:polychrome. This statue is characteristic of the many other Jin Dynasty temple statues found in northern China, with a squarish face, elaborate hairstyle, thickset upper torso, and a column-like lower body. The statue was originally fully painted, the face and hands of skin tones, the clothed attire fashioned in an array of bright colors.
