User talk:Jimbo's vandalism sock puppet

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Your account has been blocked indefinitely because impersonates another user (in this case, Jimbo Wales) (see our blocking and username policies for more information). We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames and trolling or other disruptive behavior is unacceptable.

Request reason: "I never said that I was THE Jimbo Wales."

Decline reason: "Please read our username policy and its quite evident why your account has been blocked (indications of vandalism, sockpuppeteering, and matching a name of a well known person).— Rjd0060 (talk) 19:39, 19 April 2008 (UTC)"

Request reason: "I get why you blocked my account indefinately, but why did you also block every single computer in this section of the library from ever editing again!? I could just go to the next section of computers and play jokes there, and then would you block every single computer in the entire freaking university from ever editing again? That's stupid. Most of the edits done from the library are students fixing small spelling mistakes while doing their research, why not let them? Do you like spelling mistakes? If I vandalise using an account, block that account, but don't be so stupid that you block 20,000 university students from ever making small edits! And another thing, why block the library computer forever? I'll graduate in a couple years and then you'll be blocking the library computers for no reason!!!"

Decline reason: "You appear to be mistaken about a few things. – Luna Santin (talk) 20:40, 19 April 2008 (UTC)"

An autoblock on your IP lasts (at best) 24 hours. And if account creation isn't normally possible, you can request an account be made anyhow via email. -Jéské (v^_^v E pluribus unum) 17:45, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
