[edit] Matt Gonzalez
Jim, all I'm doing in the Matt Gonzaelz article is trying to keep it objective. It's alright to report about the Tony Hall vote, etc., but remember that Wiki is an encyclopedia. Terms like "shocked the establishment" and "suprisingly" are not objective. What is the establishment? Who was surprised. As an editor, one of your jobs is to take an objective point of view. [edit] =
Matt's middle name is not Eduardo; it is Edward. The Chron reference is wrong
The statement about "shocking" is the headline in the Chronicle story; It was clearly surprising. Those are the facts not POV, Previous posting had wrong url for the Chron story; it should now be more clear. It should have been: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2003/01/09/MN206530.DTL&hw=Gonzalez+Election+as+President+Shocks+Democratic+Leaders&sn=001&sc=1000 Also Establishment should be capitalized in this usage. - See my edits on your contributions. "Shock the establishment" -- what does that mean? Who is the establishment? (And you capitalize it -- Establishment?) These terms don't really mean anything outside of SF. See my edits. BTW, I don't think Carlos Petrini is a good source for anything, much less information. Griot 07:35, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Dear Mr. Dorenkott:
Surely you have read the rules of contribution. A user cannot contribute to one's own article, or articles about close friends, relatives, etc. Per http://sfbulldog.com/hBrown/2006/04/26/watching-city-hall-456, I'm afraid you fall into that category. Thank you for respecting Wikipedia policy in advance. IttyBittyGrittyindaShteCiti 09:17, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
