When I click on the link in my confirmation E-mail message, I get a response, "Invalid confirmation code. The code may have expired." I have tried this more than once per E-mail with two different confirmation codes and gotten the same result every time. Now what do I do?
- Did you click on send more than once? Only the most recent code works (I've done that too). Just click send again, and wait for the most recent code. If it doesn't work, just put {helpme} back on your page. -Royalguard11(Talk·Desk) 00:04, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- (after edit conflict): Wow, that's a bit strange. um.. I'm not sure what you can do.. You can try again with a different email address? If you request it more than once, it cancels out the earlier one, and if you try that well yeah, it could cancel out both. So use either the same (or if it doesnt work) a different email address.. Request the link once, if you cant see it, be patient, or check Junk Mail / Spam etc.. and if It still doesn't work well you might have to file a bugzilla bug request. — Deon555talkReview 00:05, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
I got a third confirmation E-mail, and I don't remember requesting this one, but when I clicked on the link, it worked this time. It's more weirdness than I can wrap my little pea brain around, but I'm in now. Thanks for the help.
