I added to his professional career and deleted the erroneous reference to an on-the-field nervous breakdown. That happened in the movie "Fear Strikes Out," not in real life!

-In 1963, I read he ran the bases in reverse order to celebrate his 100th career home run (from third to second to first to home). The day after there was a rule implemented that made it illegal for people to run the bases backwards. Am I wrong?
