[edit] Film

While this article does a good job on discussing Brown's athletic career, his film career is barely mentioned. MK2 04:36, 3 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit]  ?

I never even knew he had a film career

Didn't he also spend some time in jail?

Next to no data on his tumultuous personal life

[edit] Multiple arrests

To answer an earlier inquiry regarding Brown's incarceration: he has been arrested numerous times, for charges including domestic violence, battery, assault and even rape. In most cases he was either acquitted or the charges were dropped, though I do believe he did some jail time for vandalizing his wife's vehicle. He has a notoriously quick fuse.

Brown's numerous brushes with the law have somewhat tarnished his legacy here in NE Ohio.

  • Update: here are a couple of links; hope these help.

Jim Brown was hard to bring down (Biographical sketch, also discusses Brown's apparent "dark side.")

I'm pretty sure Marchetti won it:[1] Quadzilla99 23:03, 27 April 2007 (UTC)...Sorry but Jim Brown won the MVP in 1958. Check NFL records...Gino was a great player but no one was better than Jim Brown and I am not a Browns fan..N.Y. Giants...CB

[edit] Neutrality dispute?

So, where exactly is the neutrality of the article disputed? The notification at the top of the article indicates that the neutrality of the article is in question, yet I see no mention of this supposed dispute anywhere. If the neutrality is no longer in question, then the flag should be removed, correct? If not, whoever initiated the action should perhaps identify whatever material is in question so that it could be addressed. GCD1 (talk) 17:46, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

It looks like this was quietly removed. Thanks -- now I know I'm not missing some kind of glaringly obvious NPOV in the article. GCD1 (talk) 20:53, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
