Jimmy Recca was a bass player in some of the Stooges incarnations, including what could've potentially been their most powerful line-up; one that featured Jimmy on bass supporting both Ron Asheton and James Williamson on twin lead guitars. This line-up was during the band's tenure being stationed in Los Angeles.
Jimmy was also in The New Order, the band that Ron Asheton had founded after the separation of the Stooges, along with ex- MC5 drummer, Dennis "Machine Gun" Thompson and various other Detroit veterans.
