Drummer Jimmy Paxson Jr. is the son of two Philadelphia born jazz musicians Keyboardist Sunnie Paxson and Drummer Jimmy Paxson Sr.
Younger brother Charlie Paxson is also an accomplished drummer.
Since relocating to Los Angeles in 1987 Jimmy has since performed and/or recorded with : Stevie Nicks , Alanis Morissette , Giorgia Todrani, Sophie B. Hawkins, Edgar Winter , Robben Ford , Stanley Clarke , Tony Hawks Boom Boom Huck Jam Anarchy Orchestra , Ronnie Montrose , Rick Derringer , Steve Vai , Don Henley , Kristie Thirsk (CANADA), Zohar (UK) , Cagnet (JAPAN) , and many other international artists .
Additionally Jimmy can be heard on current Radio and T.V. jingles for Carls Jr. , Nike , Union Bank , Hersheys Chocolate , Mattel Toys, Mazda and more.
