Jim Snyder (baseball)

James Robert Snyder (born August 15, 1932 in Dearborn, Michigan) was a backup second baseman for the Minnesota Twins from 1961 to 1964. After his playing days, he became a coach, and in the 1988 season, he became the interim manager for the Seattle Mariners when Dick Williams was fired after 56 games. He finished the year 45-60, and the Mariners finished last in the American League West.
