Jim Elliot was a radio personality who has worked in various capacities at radio stations in the United States. Jim is best known for his time at WPGC-FM on the "Elliot and Woodside"" show from 1978 through 1982.
Elliot began at WRC in Washington, DC. Prior to WPGC, Jim served as Program Director at WEAM. He began at WPGC in 1975 as Music Director and working on air mid day. In 1977 he teamed up with Don O'Day for a morning show.. In the Summer of 1978, Scott Woodside joined him for morning news. Elliott & Woodside moved the show to Q107 in early 1982. Elliot finished out the on-air portion of his career in Washington at B106, and middays at WAVA-FM.
Elliot moved on to Arista Records to a position as Vice President of Pop Promotion. Today he runs his own airplay consulting firm, "The Spin Doctor, Inc". [1]
