James Lawrence Clinton (born August 10, 1850 in New York, New York; died September 3, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York) was an outfielder in Major League Baseball.
In his first year as a professional player, he also managed the Brooklyn Eckfords for a short time in 1872, losing all 11 games he managed.
