Jacob James Gunter (Born August 22, 1991, Saint Joseph, Missouri) is a student at Benton High School. There he plays on the school's JV soccer team, which has an outstanding background in sports. He is currently involved with the Project Lead the Way program and would later in life like to become a mechanical engineer.

Gunter was born in Saint Joseph, Missouri to parents Bart Gunter, a retired IRS employee, and Cindy Smith, an United States Postal Service mail carrier. Gunter has one older sibling and four younger siblings.

Gunter has a dog named Leo and a Cat named Patches. He drives a blue 1995 Chevy Lumina. He is currently attending Benton High School and has expressed a desire to attend University of Missouri–Rolla in the near future. Gunter is interested in "Girls, stuff that goes BOOOOM!, best friends, making movies, computers, coffee, eating, friends, Guitar Hero II, movies, music, my car, partying, running, sports, texting and videogames."
In the fall of 2006 Gunter teamed up with Frank Dasta to produce a short film titled, "Tuna Jackson: Secret Agent". The video was entered in Missouri's Technology Student Association state competition. At this competition there was a judging error, which at first "Tuna Jackson" did not place. After being notified of the error, judges re-tabulated the scores. Gunter and his colleague placed 2nd behind a movie titled "Stop Motion Legos". Gunter and Dasta are now working on a stop-motion Lego film entitled "Lego Vice City", which will be a treatment of GTA Vice City similar to Lego Star Wars, but in film form. Unlike past films, the film will not be under the MEGA/Diablo Films license, and will instead be made under the fictional Blockstar Games video game company.
