Would someone mind explaining why this image was selected as Picture of the day for July 24th 2007, when, as you shall see in my sig, it is only the 20th of July today??--82.24.222.207 14:08, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

It means it will be on that day.. saves them time adding them beforehand, all of July is done, see Wikipedia:Picture of the day/July 2007 --Astrokey44 12:22, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

Grammatically speaking, one could argue that the act of selection happened in the past, even if the date is in the future. :) howcheng {chat} 01:46, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
