[edit] Is JINSA neoconservative?

From looking at their website, it is unclear whether JINSA is a truly neoconservative organization. Their organization does boast prominent neocons as members and occupying high positions in it, but there are also prominent liberal Democrats involved in JINSA.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.231.176.125 (talk • contribs) 07:43, 13 October 2005

In this context, I think the label "neoconservative" means supportive of the right wing in Israel, particularly the Likud opposition to any accomodation with the Palestinians and Israel's neighbors. The problem is that "neoconservative" has a history that isn't as restrictive as that usage. Who are the liberal Democrats you found? Al-mustaqbal 01:52, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] the "Frontline" magazine info is clearly incorrect and should be removed

The quotation attributed to "Frontline, an Indian current affairs magazine" is factually incorrect almost in its entirety. The date given for JINSA's founding is 1997. The website of the organization lists 1976. The list of names as those who serve on JINSA's board of directors is all wrong. Perhaps the magazine reporter meant the group's board of advisors. Still, according to JINSA's own website, only one of those listed does serve on that board - Richard Perle, which the magazine spelled incorrectly. Feith and Cheney were advisory board members in the past.

Also, I have never heard of any links between this organization and Israel's Likud Party. They certainly seem to meet with Labor Party officials as much as Likud Party officials. What about the ruling party in Israel, Kadima? Do they meet with them?

This entire entry really needs to be cleaned up.

[edit] Advisory board members

Other than that the Old Testament of the Christian Bible-- which comes to us as the hands of Jews-- predicting that the descendents of Abrahams first sons would not get along, why is it that after thousands of years, Jews and Arabs are still at each others throats?

Is it likely that JINSA would have an advisory board member who is not a Jew?

Is there a connection between our Vice-President who is reputed to be the controlling factor behind the Presidency having also been a JINSA Advisory Board Memeber which means that he is probably a Jew or at least a sympathisor with the JINSA mission,, and the fact that our nation is at odds with nearly every Arab nation around the world?

Is JINSA's mission and purpose really an American one, or just a means of getting the United States of America to fight Israel's battles for them? What grievance do average, normal, and common Americans have with the Arab world? Does Al Quida hate us all, or is this just an ongoing part of their historic battle with Jews that the rest of us would just as soon stay out of? If Jews and Arabs truly are half brothers of Abraham, common wisdom is to stay out of another family's squabble.

Why did the Jew's God take them out of Egypt and lead them all over the desert only to deposit them in the only part of the Middle east where there is no oil? That may be sad, but no reason for JINSA to drag us into the fight for oil. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.119.187.254 (talk) 19:55, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
