[edit] Scope

Pursuant to objections raised in categories' discussion, I've edited to limit the scope. This scope could include the following types of articles, but this doesn't need to be spelled out in describing the category:

  • official treatments and legislation, and other official acts affecting political, governmental, and societal status
  • notable laws, events, individuals and reforms of historical or political significance.
  • articles on the political roles, rights and status of Jews, which may or may not fit within the history of Jews.

Along these lines, I've deleted the category from Judaism and Islam, and Christianity and Judaism, which are both too broad for this purpose. There's better treatment in anti-Sem articles and in History of Jews in Islam. Thanks. HG | Talk 18:26, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
