[edit] Why does this category exist?

I don't see any "Catholic businesspeople" or "Muslim businesspeople" categories. Instead, we have this unique Jewish list placed in the "businesspeople by nationality" category and subsuming the "Israeli businesspeople" category. This looks very wrong. nadav 10:07, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

This category is perfectly fine because we have Category:Jews by occupation; also, because there are so many Jews still living in the diaspora we have Category:Businesspeople by nationality. We USED to categorize businesspeople by ethnicity (such as Category:Jewish-American businesspeople) but those categories were (unjustly) deleted. --Wassermann 13:11, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Well, one obvious problem with this arrangement is that an article on prominent Israeli Arab businessman Ibrahim Boulus [1] would be indirectly included in Jewish businesspeople. nadav 05:58, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
