Okay I go to my system to upload a image and click and open it to aloow it to be uploaded and I also list the website but then It says their is no extension "like".jpg???? What does that mean and how do I overcome it and please just don't give me a link please tell me how????
- Ok. Follow these instructions carefully.
- Go to the website.
- Right-click on the picture.
- Select "Save image as..."
- Call the picture "Wikipedia image.jpg"
- Save it.
- Go to Wikipedia:Upload.
- Click on "image from a website".
- Click on the "Browse..." button.
- Select "Wikipedia image.jpg" and click "Open"
- In Destination Filename, clear out whatever appears and type "Jets635.jpg"
- In Summary, type this: "This image came from <insert the website address here>. It is fair use because it is being used for identification purposes only."
- In Licensing, pick whatever best describes the image. (Such as "image of a living person" or whatever. If you choose "Found the image somewhere", IT WILL BE DELETED.)
- Click "Upload".
- Go to the article you want the picture in and type this code: [[Image:Jets635.jpg|thumb|<add a caption here>]]
- Then read ALL of our help files so you know how to do this in the future on your own. Thank you.

[edit] Fair Use
NYJets.jpg in no way qualifies as fair use. The image in question is copyrighted by Getty. Please read Wikipedia:Non-free content before you make such assertions. --NeilN 14:04, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
