This is a band started a year ago, in July. Peril Lies in Wait is made up of Christian James [rhythm guitar], Aaron Hall [vocals and lead guitar], Andrew West [bass guitar], Kyle Fugate [lead vocals], and Clayton Fugate [drums]. It came out of the break-up of another band called XianSpawn. XianSpawn was a melodic hardcore band started in November of 2002. Kyle, Aaron, and Andrew came out of this band.

Fun fact- Christian tried out for XianSpawn and Clayton was invited to be a second vocalist, but he turned the offer down.

Peril was started in Poland, Indiana, with just Aaron, Kyle and Clayton. Bassist Andrew joined in November of 2006 and rhythm guitarist Christian joined in February of 2007.

[edit] Genre

They play a different kind of music than most people. Their music is a new hybrid made up of death metal and hardcore which births deathcore.

Their discography is made up of three releases. Only one of which wasn't made public, the second one made in April of 2007. 1. Demo (February 2007)
