Jessica Morden was elected as the first female Gwent MP on 5th May 2005 with a 6,800 majority. Jessica, 36, was brought up an educated in nearby Cwmbran. Over the last fourteen years she worked for two local Gwent MPs and prior to her election as MP she was General Secretary of the Wales Labour Party.[1] --81.132.58.66 14:51, 14 May 2005 (UTC) ZiggyNpt
