Jessie was born in the United Arab Emirates, where her dad was working. The second of three siblings. Her mom is a Filipina while her dad is British-Lebanese. She was three years old when her mom moved and brought her and her elder sister in the Philippines. Her mom left her dad due to undisclosed reasons. Her younger sister was born in the Philippines when her parents reconciled. Eventually her parents separated again for the second time. She is still in contact with his dad who's now working abroad[1].

Jessie was spotted by Mr. M in when she enrolled in ABS-CBN's public acting workshop. She readily agreed when Mr. M asked her if she wanted to be an actress[2]. On June 3, 2007 she was launched as member of Star Magic Batch 15.
