Jessica Gavora

Jessica Lynn Gavora (born May 7, 1963), an American conservative author and speechwriter. She is the wife of conservative commentator Jonah Goldberg.

Gavora is the daughter of Vladimir Paul Gavora and the stepdaughter of Donna Gavora. Her father is a businessman in Anchorage, Alaska, and owns a number of shopping malls and other businesses. According to the Web site for the Environmental Working Group, he owns oil and gas leases near the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge.

Gavora was formerly the chief speechwriter for, and a senior policy adviser to, Attorney General John Ashcroft.[1]
