Jesse M. Hendley

Jesse M. Hendley (October 11, 1907 – November 30, 1994) was an American Christian pastor and evangelist. He has been described as the dean of Southern Baptist evangelists.[1][2]
Hendley studied at Georgia Tech, Columbia Seminary, and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.[citation needed] He was pastor of the Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, for 14 years which grew from 200 to 2,300 members under his ministry. For over 60 years he was the director of the Radio Evangelistic Hour gospel broadcast.
