In 2007, Liaudin signed a three-fight contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship and won his first fight with the organization at UFC 70: Nations Collide. His second UFC fight was another victory over Anthony Torres at UFC 75: Champion vs. Champion while his most recent fight ended in a loss via knockout to Marcus Davis at UFC 80: Rapid Fire. Prior to his fight with Davis, Jess lived up to his nickname "the joker" by claiming that Davis was not really Irish (Davis is known for his pride in his Irish heritage), thus angering Davis who eventually Knocked Liaudin out.
Liaudin's next fight will be at UFC 85: Bedlam in which he will face Paul Taylor, this is a re-match as both fighters faced each other at Cage Rage 2, where Taylor won by Judges Decision.
