This article is supposed to be a biography. What happened ? There is almost no biographical detail in it. Most of it reads like an attack piece on New Scientist editorial policy. It seems to have been written by axe grinders who know little or nothing about Jeremy Webb. I intend to reduce it to a stub containing the meagre biographical information it currently contains if it's not sorted out within the next week. -- Derek Ross | Talk 06:35, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi Derek, this spilled over from Ivor Catt, where User:Photocopier seemed to have an axe to grind on behalf of that article's subject. I proposed the merge with New Scientist, where a biographical sentence or two would be appropriate. Bm gub 00:54, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
That would be reasonable, Bm. I think you should go ahead and do that. Since most of the material in this article is about editorial policy on New Scientist, it would be far better if a summary of it were located there. That could be done without affecting the NPOV of the New Scientist article too much. But its presence in this one at the current length could only be justified if the article were at least ten times its current length. For the current article, the material just unbalances it to such an extent that NPOV does not exist despite the verifiability of the material and the presence of all those references. -- Derek Ross | Talk 05:25, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
OK, I merged the biographical paragraph as discussed and deleted the bloggy stuff. Bm gub 03:50, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
