Jersey Live is an indie/rock/dance music festival held annually in Jersey. In 2006, 7,500 people attended the festival and it was described by Edith Bowman as having "more pulling power than any other small festival". Jersey Live 2007 will be the festival's fourth year and takes place in The Royal Jersey Showground in the parish of Trinity. The festival has grown in popularity and size each year and has drawn interest from people outside the Channel Islands with foreign visitors making up approximately 27% of the 2006 crowd.[1][2] 19:16, June 8, 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Organisation

The Jersey Live event has been organised by Warren Le Sueur and Warren Holt since 2004. In 2006 there was a huge demand for tickets and subsequently, Positiv applied for licensing permission for an extra day for the festival. The organisers have expressed hopes that the festival will continue to expand its numbers in 2007 and although this has not been officially confirmed, it is expected that the number of tickets sold will rise to around 10,000.
