Jerry Savelle is president of Jerry Savelle Ministries International (JSMI), a ministry of many outreaches devoted to meeting the needs of believers all over the world.

Dr. Savelle, as he often goes by, first established his ministry, Jerry Savelle Evangelistic Association, in 1974 as a traveling ministry with only one employee. His ministry has grown immensely since those beginning days and now encompasses the United States as well as locations abroad. Savelle worked as an autobody repairman before entering the ministry. Early in his ministry he traveled and studied under Kenneth Copeland, another "Word of Faith" minister.

The missionary outreach of Jerry Savelle's ministry now extends to over 50 countries around the world.

Savelle hosts a television show called Chariots of Light that can be seen worldwide on the Daystar network.

He is also the Founding Pastor of Heritage of Faith Christian Center in Crowley, Texas. In January of 2006, Savelle appointed Justin Bridges as Senior Pastor. The senior staff now includes: Youth Pastor Jason McKay, Worship Leader Sam "Shake" Anderson, and Administrator Lindsey Nichols.
