Capt Jerry Prem Raj, VrC was a Commissioned Officer in Indian Army during Kargil War. He was the Officer in charge of India's fight Tiger Hill (Point 5140)on 07-07-1999. He was severely injured in the battle. But was pronounced dead on 07-07-1999 in military hospital. He was celebrated a War Hero of India winning this key battle. His body was cremated in his Native Thiruvananthapuram. He was awarded Veer Chakkra Second Highest military honor of India posthumously
