Jerry Baker
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jerry Baker is an American author who has written numerous gardening, household improvement, and health books. He lives in New Hudson, Michigan. Baker is also the host of a gardening program produced by Detroit Public Television (PBS) and a radio show called On the Garden Line produced by Westwood One. He is known for creating tonics to be used in the garden which consist of normal household products such as beer, cola, chewing tobacco, liquid dish soap, ammonia, mouthwash, molasses, and corn syrup.[1]
It's worth noting that some of the ingredients in Jerry Baker's tonics can actually do more harm than good. Chewing tobacco, for example, contains poisons that kill microbial life in soil, which is essential to the decomposition of organic matter.
