Jerod Gunsberg is a behind-the-scenes operative in the independent music business. Currently he runs the marketing department for Nitro Records. Prior to Nitro, Gunsberg was the general manager of The Telegraph Company and Kindercore Records. While at Telegraph, Gunsberg released early albums from Stew, Kelley Stoltz, Church of Betty, The Original Brothers and Sisters of Love, and Jim Roll.
While general manager of Kindercore Records, Gunsberg oversaw notable releases from groups such as Dressy Bessy, Of Montreal, I Am the World Trade Center and Maserati. Gunsberg's tenure at Kindercore and The Telegraph Company came to an abrupt end when Stanley Hartman, Gunsberg's partner and the CEO of The Telegraph Company, closed the business and moved to Canada. Gunsberg left New York in late 2003 and relocated to California.
Shortly thereafter, Gunsberg enrolled at Loyola Law School.
