[edit] Incomplete Filmography

The movie "Music from another room", has been left out of the filmography. Dessydes

It seems strange to me the level of detail we go into about the hand that eliminated her from Celebrity Poker Showdown... surely that hand isn't nearly as important as the hand she won the WSOP with, which isn't even mentioned. Mangojuicetalk 21:40, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

Jennifer Tilly's success at poker may be partly attributed to her ability to distract the other players from their ability to concentrate on their hands.Lestrade 21:17, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Lestrade

Why where the quotes removed?

just wanted to mention a discrepancy, in this article her father is noted to have been a stockbroker and in the article for her sister, Meg, their father is noted to have been a used car salesman.

[edit] "Enormous breasts"

Obviously, that line is a troll- but I'll be damned if I can find it anywhere to edit it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4.236.0.173 (talk) 07:18, 21 February 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Clarification request

Hi. I'm not a contributor to wikipedia, just an avid reader :) My point being that I'm not sure if this is the correct place to be submitting this request. If not, if someone could please send it along to the right place, it would be appreciated.

My request is this: In this article, Tilly is credited with playing the part of Madame Leota in Disney's _The Haunted Mansion_. It was only after I checked her page at imdb.com that I realized that this referred to the film, not the ride. So for those of us too slow to pick up on that immediately, but sharp enough to realize that she is obviously way too young to have accomplished this, could this be clarified? Thanks!

I fixed the problem. Try the link now and tell me what you think.

[edit] Porn?

I remember seeing somewhere she used to be in porn or something. Is there any merit to that? - Thero

Not that I know of, and please don't add it without a sufficient source, for reason why please read WP:BLP, WP:RS and WP:LIBEL▪◦▪ЅiREXTalk 03:13, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] I thought he had pocket kings!

We need some info on that. It's hilarious how bad she played. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.186.231.20 (talk) 14:16, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WSOP Braclet

Her WSOP braclet in the box should be written as "0 (+1)" and not "1" just like the WPT trophy since the Ladies only event isn´t open to everyone and thus isn´t considered an official braclet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.66.103.117 (talk) 16:30, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

It is true that the ladies event isn't open to men, but it not an invitational like the WPT ladies event, the WSOP ladies event bracelets do count, which you can see from the WSOP official site- Tilly - Meyer.▪◦▪≡ЅiREX≡Talk 17:23, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] World Poker Tour Ladies event

On TV, she recently won a WPT woman's event. Can someone write this up? Bubba73 (talk), 01:57, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

It was "She followed up this accomplishment on September 1, 2005 by also winning the third World Poker Tour Ladies Invitational Tournament held at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles" the show you watched was a repeat, the event took place during WPT 4th season - WPT Ladies' Night III in 2005., but it could be expanded on▪◦▪≡SiREX≡Talk 04:35, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Thank you, I didn't realize that I was watching a show that old. Bubba73 (talk), 05:32, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
heh, yeah, That has happen to me many times. :-) ▪◦▪≡SiREX≡Talk 05:39, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
I once won a bet with my father because he didn't know we were watching a rerun of a show. Bubba73 (talk), 05:44, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Where is that woman from?!?

According to http://www.superiorpics.com/jennifer_tilly/... The daughter of a car salesman (Harry Tilly) and a schoolteacher (Patricia Tilly), Jennifer E. Chan, who would later be known as Jennifer Tilly (Tilly is her mother's maiden name), was born on September 16, 1958, in Harbor City, California. Her siblings include Margaret Tilly (actress; born on February 14, 1960) and Rebecca. When she was 6, her parents divorced and her mother married John Ward. Afterward, they moved to British Columbia, Canada, where she attended Belmont High School, in Victoria. She then studied theater at St. Stephen's College, in Missouri, and contributed articles to magazines to help pay for her tuition. She also once won an Honorable Mention in a writing competition.

So in this case, I think she was raised in or around Victoria, BC Canada if she went to Belmont High School which is in Colwood (there located on Jacklin Road). http://belmont.sd62.bc.ca/Gr1phOTR (talk) 11:41, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Her Hometown

Is Tilly's Hometown in Victoria, B.C. Canada or Harbor City, Los Angeles, California, where she was born (she grew up in Victoria, B.C. Canada) ?!?Gr1phOTR (talk) 11:49, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
