Also, I have not been the Director of the Unit for a couple of years - so I have deleted this. Louise Staley is the Director. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.229.2.70 (talk) 12:01, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

And there is nothing conservative about me - so I have deleted that commented. I am empiricist, I take an evidence-based approach to issue. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.229.2.70 (talk) 11:59, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

The addition (Critisism) made today 23 March 2008 is absolutely not neutral in tone and seems to have been added as a personal attack against Ms. Marohasy or at least has been made by a "Global Warming" zealot with a personal agenda and should not remain as part of the article.Ken345 (talk) 14:08, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Why is Ms. Marohasy's opinion on global warming notable? She's done no research in the field, nor am I aware of her even giving legitimate sources for her claims. Having a PhD (in an unrelated field) doesn't make her any kind of expert, so her position on the subject is pretty non-notable. 71.203.209.0 (talk) 04:03, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

I agree, but the fact is that for some reason she is often interviewed by various ABC programs specifically because of her contrarian views on many environmental issues, not just global warming. This possibly has to do with the fact that she is very good at her job which is essentially as an industry lobbyist in her capacity as an employee of the Institute of Public Affairs. Sooner or later she will be proven right or wrong on these issues and it may be useful to have her opinions kept on the record for the future to judge. It would be interesting to know for example if she still believes that the Murray River is in a healthy state.Kenneth Cooke (talk) 12:11, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
