Jenny Woodward

Jenny Woodward is a journalist for ABC Queensland. She has presented the weather for ABC News in Queensland for 20 years.
She also conducts frequent live broadcasts, including annual broadcasts from the Brisbane Show or 'Ekka' [1]. She also prepares reports for the QLD edition of Stateline and in 2004 won a Queensland Media Award.
Further to Jenny's awards, she was given a fantastic honour on the 8th of April 2008, when a gentleman from Toowoomba, developed, and named a species of Geranium after her. The Jenny Woodward Geranium is a lovely pink flowered bush.
She has been the compere of the The “Spirit of Christmas” concert series (which is televised nationally on the ABC) at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre for the past 7 years. [2]
She lives in Brisbane with her family.
