Jennifer Crawford Glendening

Jennifer Crawford Glendening (born 1966), is the former First Lady of Maryland. She served as first lady for the last year of the administration of her husband, former Maryland Gov. Parris Glendening (D), who was governor from 1995 through 2003. Prior to her marriage, she had a fifteen year career in political administration. She met her future husband while serving in his administration. Glendening married Crawford on January 25, 2002. They had a daughter, Gabrielle Mona Glendening, born August 18, 2002, making Glendening the first governor of Maryland to have a child while in office since 1879. She is currently working on her Master's of Social Work Degree and resides in Annapolis, Maryland.
