Butler was nominated for a Saturn Award in 1994 in the "Best Costumes" category for Groundhog Day[2]. On July 4, 1997 she married actor Bill Murray. They have four children together: Jackson (b. 1993), Cal (b. 1995), Cooper (b. 1996), and Lincoln (b. 2001)[3]. On May 29, 2008 in Charleston County she filed for divorce after nearly 11 years of marriage, alleging he abused her and is addicted to marijuana and alcohol. She owns a home on Sullivans Island, S.C., where she lives with the couple's four children. The complaint was first reported by The Post and Courier of Charleston[4]. It also alleges Murray physically abused his wife and last November "hit her in the face and then told her she was 'lucky he didn't kill her.' ".[5]
