Jennie Mortimer

Jennifer (Jennie) Mortimer is an Australian singer born in Melbourne on December 13, 1967. Her parents Philip Mortimer and Marie(Mahon) were both classical musicians. Jennie tried her hand at classical violin before realising singing was her passion. Jennie started working professionally as a teenager in Theatre and children's shows in the school holidays and won a scholarship to a well known singing school, where she trained as a singing teacher . Jennie also studied at " The Dance Factory", Melbourne and "Trinity College London", where she obtained a Music Theatre degree. Jennie has worked as a Cabaret performer in Australia for the past seventeen years and Music Theatre with shows such as: "My fair Lady", "Hello Dolly". Jennie has supported international acts such " Boney M", "The Village People", "Reg Varney"," Ronnie Corbett" and has worked as an Actress in series such "Neighbours" "Mr Nice Guy" With (Jackie Chan) and Stage shows such as " Agnes of God" and "Woman Alone".
