Jenn Wertz (born January 4, 1969, Greensburg, Pennsylvania) is a blues-style vocalist and harmonica player best known for her involvement with Rusted Root. Wertz was a founding member of the group (1990).
Jenn Wertz had left Rusted Root in 1995 after the release of When I Woke, but continued her songwriting and fronted several solo projects. It was during this break from the band that Wertz founded and fronted a college radio band called Lovechild with fair success, focused mostly around the early rock-inspired, "Buddy"; the band had dissolved by 1998. In 2000 Wertz founded a third musical project, Isabella, a four piece band which is a working band today. That same year she returned to Rusted Root at the request of lead singer/songwriter Michael Glabicki. She left the band again in 2007.
Jenn Wertz lives with her young son in Pittsburgh. She continues to tour with Isabella and also does voice over acting for television, film, and radio.
