Jegsy Dodd

Jegsy Dodd is an English performance poet from Wirral. He came to prominence in the 1980s when he recorded a John Peel session with his backing group, The Sons of Harry Cross. His current backing band is called The Original Sinners.[1]

Dodd's Winebars and Werewolves album was a hit on the UK Indie Chart in 1986, reaching number 19.[2] His track Grumpy Old Men was number one in the 2005 Festive 50. In addition, he is a passionate supporter of the Reclaim The Kop campaign as well as a co-author on the hugely successful Liverpool FC book, Here We Go Gathering Cups In May, which highlights the seven European Cup finals the club have appeared in.
