User talk:Jeff G./IP Address conflict

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

point number 2... does not state clearly HOW or WHERE to do what it says.

"2.Try to release and renew your IP Address (if using Windows, "ipconfig /release" followed by "ipconfig /renew"). If you get a different one, chances are the different one won't be in conflict."

where or how do I invoke "ipconfig/release" ive tried START and RUN and entering it there...

Please can you make this a little clearer, many thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.78.243.56 (talk) 09:11, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

The problem was that the original poster did not have a space between "ipconfig" and "/release". I hope they got it fixed.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 02:25, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
