I actually worked at that TRU. They knew a couple months before the Dec 26th robbery that there was someone living in the store. The way the store was set up there was a false wall 4 feet away from the actual wall. He lived in that for a while. They chose not to call the police after they found out, as they didnt want word to get out as they had terminated or threatened a number of staff members trying to find the thief. They sealed the area up and thought he had gone. Good that he was a robber and not a child molester. As a matter of fact, I was terminated by loss prevention because they suspected me of the thefts. They illegally searched alot of staff members private vehicles and property. They broke into my truck and searched it, and photographed it. It was bunged up royally.
