[edit] Manchester Guardian?

The Manchester Guardian (or the one I can think of) didn't exist in the 1980s. -- Hoary 04:57, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

This is not "dubious" to well-read Americans in 1990 when the Romanian Revolution the photo-reporting took place. According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Guardian): "Until 1959 it was called The Manchester Guardian, which reflected its origins; the paper is rarely still referred to by this name – except in North America, where the old name is sometimes used (to distinguish it from other newspapers with similar names)."Jim Casper 19:51, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
