Jeffrey Hornaday

Jeffrey Hornaday is an American choreographer and film director.

Hornaday's choreography credits include the films Flashdance, D.C. Cab, Romancing the Stone, A Chorus Line, Tango & Cash, Dick Tracy, Life Stinks, Carlito's Way, and Sweet Jane.

Hornaday directed and staged the Who's That Girl Tour and staged The Girlie Show Tour for Madonna. He was nominated for the MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography for adapting his dance routines from Flashdance for Jennifer Lopez in her music video I'm Glad. He also choreographed the Michael Jackson film Captain EO that was featured at Disney theme parks.

Hornaday has directed and staged concert tours for Reba McEntire, Mariah Carey, the Backstreet Boys, and Paul McCartney. He conceived and directed the Z Tour starring The White Stripes, No Doubt, Sheryl Crow, Enrique Iglesias, Puddle of Mudd, 311, and Stone Temple Pilots for a national marketing campaign promoting the Nissan Z-car.

As a director, Hornaday helmed segments of the CBS Summer Playhouse and ABC Afterschool Specials and the John Travolta feature Shout, in which he cast Gwyneth Paltrow in her first screen role.
