Jefferson Montero

Jefferson Antonio Montero Vite (born 1 September 2007 in Babahoyo, Los Rios, Ecuador) is an Ecuadorian footballer who plays for Emelec. He played in the 2007 Pan American Games for Ecuador and scored in the final match against Jamaica, helping them to a 2-1 victory and the first international tournament in Ecuadorian football history.[1] He received his first senior international call-up from former national team coach Luis Fernando Suarez in a August 2007 friendly against Bolivia.[1] He made his full debut in a 2010 World Cup qualifier against Peru, coming on late in the second half in the 5-1 thrashing.[2]
